What to wear for your Boudoir Session

Updated: Apr 7, 2020

At BONNY Photography we have an exclusive client wardrobe packed with stunning pieces that photograph beautifully in sizes 6-28 so all you need to bring with you is a black seamless thong to wear underneath. All our pieces are washed and sanitized between use and we find this works wonderfully for our clients, you get to come in, dress up and try on some pieces that you might never have thought about buying for yourself!

So, what works?

  • Texture! leather, lace, silk, knit, chains etc. Adding texture is the perfect way to add dimension and create a polished look

  • Bodysuits look great on everyone and they come in so many variables, you're guaranteed to find one that shows off the pieces of yourself you love!

  • Robes. These are great for undressing sequences and pulling off your shoulder ect, depending on the fabric, they can also be a lot of fun to play with in back lit situations

  • High waist underwear, perfect for a timeless look and it gives you something to tug a little!

  • Just like adding texture is great for depth, adding colour is great for diversity and creating a beautiful Gallery of images that tells a story

  • Body chains, these are great to wear on their own or over bodysuits/lingerie

  • Being in the right size lingerie. Especially heading into your shoot, if you're wearing lingerie that is too tight it will leave impressions on your skin that will last your entire session. I always encourage clients to arrive bra-less in loose fitting clothes that will make it easy to get dressed straight from Hair and Makeup

  • Over sized shirts and/or knits, these can be totally sexy or cute and fun it's up to you
